Hi there 👋
Apologies for not dropping The Weekly SEO into your inbox last week - sometimes life gets in the way!
Anywhom, Google, the grinch that stole search results, has decided to drop a core update right at the end of 2020 - cheers G.
It's still early but from what I've seen (albeit a small a sample) the update has removed quite a lot of irrelevant search results. Nonetheless, I have heard some disastrous stories, not least littlewoods.com and argos.com (UK brands) where visibility has dropped significantly as described in my Post of the Week; Core Update December 2020 - Google's Christmas present?
This is early analysis of the Core Update from Sistrix and will be updated regularly. 🔥
