Master Keyword Research in 7 Days
Not too sure when I came across this, but it's bloody great, and now is the right time to feature it. Most people who write about keyword research don't segment their approach. Nick's approach is different. He looks at the big differences between carrying out keyword research on new vs existing websites.

How to get the best out of your team in ideation sessions
Ideation sessions are underrated. I love Builtvisible's approach here, and particularly like how they aim to create an environment where everyone, from different backgrounds, personalities and thinking styles, are actively involved.

Test your site speed automatically with Speed Demon
This is so cool! An Apps Script inside Google Sheets which polls WebPageTest every week and sends an email if your page speed is below a specified threshold.
Goooooood Morning! Some great posts this weeks, and another cracker from Google.
I've been featuring more and more on page speed recently, and another two this week. It's just a topic that fascinates me, and I think it's a topic that SEO's seem to struggle with. We can evaluate a website sure, but when it comes to the granular detail of implementing technical changes, and communicating said changes with developers, we're a bit, well, shit.
I truly believe we're getting better at it though. In part, I think that's because the subject of SEO is becoming broader, and page speed more important. Fortunately, we now also have a whole host of experts writing about web performance. So, onto the links...
