Why the $^*! is no one talking about dynamic rendering?
Good question. In 2018, Google endorsed dynamic rendering, yet very few have acted on it. Geoff Atkinson, founder and CEO of Huckabuy highlights the benefits of dynamic rendering, and introduces their own solution; The SEO Cloud.

Big link numbers don’t always equal big business impact
An interesting post by Olivia Wiltshire on why you don't always need big link numbers to win big. I particularly like Builtvisible's 'opportunity sizing' approach which highlights 'link needy' pages and determines the best link building strategy.

Pay Attention to These SEO Trends in 2020 and Beyond
I'm not usually a fan of trends posts, but this one by Suganthan is different. First off, I agree with all of the points (which is rare) and secondly it's mega comprehensive. He concludes nearly every section with 'But what does this mean for SEOs?' which makes every point practical for SEOs.

Morning! Hope you enjoyed the game last week...completed it yet? ✅
I'm a big podcast fan and this week I stumbled upon the Page 2 Podcast for the first time (I really don't know how, it's on its 40th episode!). It's absolutely brilliant. Jacob Stoops and Jeff Louella, both smart SEOs, interview the best in the industry.
There's also been good things happening in my city, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Thanks to Tom and Sam from Evolved Search, we have our very first search meetup; NCL Search. It's starting with a bang too, with a fantastic speaker lineup including Andi Jarvis, Stacey MacNaught and Stephen Kenwright.
