Women in Tech SEO Festival
I've never actively promoted a conference before, but I think the Women in Tech SEO Festival founded by Areej AbuAli deserves a shout out. Some brilliant speakers lined up, and I'll definitely be sending some of my team down!

This is such a positive update in Search Console I had to include it! While increased data freshness is not available in the Search Analytics API just yet, you can now see data from the previous day direct from Search Console. 👌

Cloudflare: Introducing Browser Insights
Seriously impressed with some of the new features in Cloudflare. Browser Insights can be enabled with a flick of a switch inside Cloudflare and uses Real User Monitoring (RUM) to capture how long it takes for webpages to load, for actual users.
JavaScript SEO Tools by Onely
Very impressed by this suite of JavaScript tools by Onely. One of the tools provides a forecast on how long it takes for JavaScript-powered content to be indexed by Google, and another tool calculates the relative rendering cost of a webpage.
G’day SEO nerds!
Some rather large updates recently, from the freshness changes in Search Console to the broad core algorithm update last week; there’s lots to talk about.
There was also the unfortunate collapse of Thomas Cook, which clearly has SEO implications. As their webpages continue to be removed from the index, competitors such as Tui and others will likely see a bump in rankings. The SERPS in October will make for some interesting viewing. If you’ve seen any analysis already, please point it my way!
